A Hand-Forged 22k Ring with a Medicine Wheel Garnet
A 22k band forged by hand from melted gold, set with a Medicine Wheel-cut anthill garnet.

This ring was forged rather than cast. The gold was melted, poured into an ingot and taken through the rolling mill by Carol, then formed, bevelled and soldered into a band.
Its centre is an anthill garnet in the Medicine Wheel cut, held in a hand-made bezel. Edge and surface finishes, bevelled or hammered, were weighed before the band was completed.
