A Medicine Wheel Ruby Pendant for Jay
A hand-fabricated 18k pendant around a 1.23 ct Songea ruby in Larry Woods' Medicine Wheel cut, made for a family occasion.
Jay commissioned this pendant to mark a very special occasion for his mother and his family.
Its centre is a 1.23 ct Songea ruby, faceted in the Medicine Wheel cut by the gem designer Larry Woods.
Carol fabricated the setting entirely by hand in 18k: drawn wire, a fitted bezel, the frame soldered piece by piece, and an open-front bail, a detail rarely seen. Final polishing was done at the bench before the pendant was boxed for delivery.
