Three Matched Sapphire and Diamond Pendants

Bill commissioned three identical pendants. The early drawings showed round stones, but pear shapes were chosen early on to suit the design, and every stone had to match across all three in cut, shape, grade and size.

Carol melted 18k white casting grain into a bar, then milled, cut and drew it until she had every piece she needed. Each pendant came to nineteen pieces.

The stones were laid in to check accuracy before setting, and the pendants were finished with a final polish and steam cleaning.
