Victoria's Cross
A pair of two-tone 18k cross pendants with raised lettering, built from hand-cut patterns, moulds and three castings.

Victoria's cross began as a drawing with lettering worked into its arms. Each element was cut exactly to size by hand from aluminium-backed polymer, and a mould was made of every piece.
Waxes were injected from the moulds, including the raised lettering on the man's quarter pieces. The first two castings failed; the third was perfect.
The finished crosses are two-tone 18k, assembled and polished at the bench.
