The centre is a 24 x 7 mm Yowah opal of 7.42 cts, hand selected by Carol in Tucson, which shows brilliant neon greens and blues throughout. It sits in a moveable setting that lets the wearer roll the stone and view all of it.
Bordering the opal are five AAA natural round brilliant tsavorites (2.8 mm, .44 tcw) and a single AAA trillion-cut tsavorite (3.8 mm, .25 ct), accented by three round brilliant VVS1 G–H diamonds (2.8 mm, .14 tcw).
The necklace includes a two-tone white and yellow hand-fabricated chain with its own setting and clasp. Completed 20 April 2001; matching earrings were being added.
