A Platinum and Three-Gold Yin Yang Ring

Brian's ring combines lost-wax casting and hand fabrication in platinum and 18k yellow, red and white gold. The framework was carved in wax, cut into pieces and each cast in platinum, with the client's initials worked into the interior.

An inner ring was carved to fit and cast in 18k yellow. Meanwhile gold sheet was milled by hand and each piece cut from it: three yin yang symbols of four pieces each in red and white gold, and three 18k white star bursts.

Once the client had chosen the stones, yellow and blue sapphires and one ruby, they were set by hand and the ring given a final series of hand polishing.
